Teams are one of the features in the game. It allows players to either create a team or join an existing one. Teams make a group of tamers allied to one another, where:
- Pets will not target teammates.
- Tamers of the same team cannot deal damage to another member.
- Towers built by team members will not target nor attack a member.
Usage[]
Teams are used in a diversity of ways, including but not limited to:
- High-scoring, where a usually small group of people meet up in a server to, often but not always, kill bosses. These teams often consist of strong players with high badges and will not let random players in their team.
- Base building: these teams can vary in size and construct bases with buildings. They tend to be AFK (away from keyboard) after completing the base, but the ultimate aim is technically also highscoring. Common locations where the team members gather are the Big Gold Node or any of the four corners of the map. Bigger teams, often a clan, may also build a base around their conquered totem.
- Raiding: when a base-building team gets large in scale, raiding teams tend to exist. Their sole purpose is to destroy the base in the server and kill the members in it. Usually, these teams are large clans itself and tend to make servers very crowded.
- Big teams: these teams tend to let everyone who wishes to join enter the team. They do not usually gather in a specific location, and members are found individually and wandering around, doing their own things. These teams usually consist players that have never met in any way before, and betrayal is from time to time seen.
- Big bases are usually when a large group of people or clan builds a strong base. They will not let random people in their team, and the king can be given to different players in the team. Examples of this are W, FER, FNX, WIN, and EZV.
- Clone teams: these are teams that copy another team name. But however, they cannot copy the exact name of the team they are copying. However, by using a zero-width space, it can be possible to copy the exact name for a team.
- Ghost teams: these are teams that have only a few people that are alive and a lot of people dead. Most of these are bases that have been raided and the king has died. These teams can stay if the king of the team is still on the same server.
