Skunks are one of the many tamable pets. It is classified as a poison type pet, therefore being stronger than rabbits, (Plant type pets), and lynxes but less damage against Rock type pets. This pet type is classified to be one with most surviveability, as nothing can do more damage to it, practically having no weaknesses. The Skunk is a light weight animal.
Skill[]
Creates a long-lasting toxic cloud that does slow damage to everything in its radius. Unlike the other pets, using this ability does not freeze it in place. Medium range.it also reduces player visibility. This skill is mainly used to kill wild animals, as it has a lot of total damage. It is not good against players due to them being able to just escape the fog
Strategy[]
Skunks have decent health, but very low regen, which makes it's survival far worse than polecat. Has fast movement speed, a decent bite (becomes around 21 with the tail), and a pretty useful ability, but due to addition of boar, they are completely outclassed and are not worth taming or using anymore. having several of them can kill a wild animal pretty easily, but they aren't the best in what they do. Poison ability is very effective against Lynxes, which are one of the most dangerous pets to fight against, and can also be a nuisance for any plant pet, but not as useful against player pets. Overall use is wild animals, not players. It's skill also does no damage to buildings. If you do try and run ,be careful where you go. You might run into a skunk group, and that would mean double trouble. If you have a boss pet, now is the time to get on it and fight for your life. The skunks high movement speed can be very deadly if you don't have a pet to block the damage. The axolotl is good for fighting skunks only due to its special ability of making clones.
Fighting against the skunk:
Level 1 (Baby) Not fast, not powerful, poses no threat to you.
Level 2 (Adult) After hitting it a few times, begins to attack you. A moderate pace and kill it just like any other animal for it has very little health. They die pretty fast due to their low health and are not dangerous as long as you know what you're doing
Level 3 (Boss) The skunk boss is pretty easy to kill (unless you have axe or Katanas) Spin around in tight circles or run away from it in zig-zags with a melee weapon. Or place two spikes and have it run into them. Never run in a straight line unless you have spikes to protect you. a skunks high speed allows it to keep up with you, and straight lines with no pets is a death wish.
Taming Chance[]
Skunks have 12% chance of taming. You can Increase the Taming chance using Appletor or the Tamer's Cap,
