The Merchant is a Mauve who facilitates trading in the game. It offers players the ability to buy and sell various items, particularly potions and insects. The Merchant plays a key role in the game's economy, with item values shifting based on demand and supply.
Features[]

In-game Merchant
The Merchant operates a time limited trading system. Players can interact with the Merchant to either sell items in exchange for or purchase items using Golden Apples. When selling an item, the Merchant rewards the player by tossing them a Golden Apple bag. When buying an item, it triggers a brief animation where Golden Apples rain from above.
Each player is limited to a maximum of 10 transactions (buying or selling separate) per hour. After this limit is reached, players must wait for the hourly reset, which occurs at the beginning of every hour (1 hour = 1 transaction)
Additionally, the Merchant's inventory is shared across all players. This means the market is global and competitive. If another player purchases an item that appears available on your screen but has already been claimed, you will receive a message stating:
"Sorry, someone else bought this item!"
In this case, your Golden Apples will be automatically refunded.
Market Dynamics[]
The Merchant functions similarly to a marketplace. Item prices are influenced by supply and demand:
- If an item is bought frequently, its price will increase.
- If an item is sold in large quantities, its price will decrease.
This system encourages strategic trading and market awareness.
Buyable Items[]
The items available for purchase from the Merchant include:
- Potions: Prices vary depending on the rarity and effect of the potion. Occasionally, limited-time or event-related potions - such as the
Djinn Lamp - may also be available.
- Insects: Certain insects can be bought, especially rare ones that originate from specific biomes or bosses, such as the
Majestic Butterfly. Their availability and pricing are determined by their rarity.
Sellable Items[]
Players can sell a variety of item types to the Merchant in exchange for Golden Apples. The following categories are accepted:
- Potions
- Insects
- Containers – including jars, bottles, and other collectible vessels.
Notes[]
- Be sure to monitor the market prices before trading—items bought in bulk by others may become expensive quickly.
- Selling during a high-demand phase can yield more Golden Apples if done strategically (for example,
Empty Lamp is a rare item, which means you can obtain more
Golden Apple by selling it.
- Always refresh your inventory before purchasing to ensure availability.
