The Menhir is a 
Rock Type pet that can be found by disturbing or defeating the Rock Golem boss. Be careful, this potato can spontaneously explode and kill you without warning!

The Menhir's ability is "Burst", using it's ability causes it to explode killing the menhir and dealing enormous damage! This can be utilized as it can do up to 70 damage to players. Before it got nerfed, it deals 70 player damage, insta-killing when the Stone Helmet is worn.

Strategy[]
If you are the enemy, you're going to want to use a Crystal shield, Knight's Helmet, rock cape or combinations of them to escape from the Menhir's grasp! When using the Menhir, be careful, if you missed its skill, your Menhir will warp in his own time into stage of cuteness and farts!
It’s suggested you unlock the pet, as it helps with the usage of the new Menhir. If you have multiple menhirs coming at you, your best bet on survival is to run and barricade gaps between trees to stop them from reaching you, then make your way as far away as you can from them.
If you see a Boss Menhir and you don't know what it looks like, just imagine it as a potato.
Pros and Cons[]
The menhir's ability can do the largest burst of damage in the game. Even one menhir will send players running for safety. Multiple menhir's can insta-kill the player if at least two of them make contact. Aside player killing, they also deal tremendous building damage against walls, nearly capable of destroying a maxed out wall with three. Its max HP (highest in the game) combined with its regen will also help keep your pet alive during times where you don't want to explode. Sadly it still takes a good 15 seconds before the regen starts.
While the menhir's presence is formidable, its actual usage is very limited. You really have only one chance to fulfill your menhir's purpose. Whether you succeed or fail, you will have to get it back to boss as it will become a baby again or respawn with menhirs, if you intend to bring more. Bringing more isn't easy either. An XP malus more severe than typical legendary pets adds to the time needed to grow them, not to mention they run at snail's pace too. All in all, its viability is constricted.

- If you used Menhir skill while it is on Baby/Adult evolution, it will "fart" instead, doing nothing but awarding you the first achievement below.
- The menhir has the most health in the game alongside Yeti.
