INTERFACE / PET CHOOSING

When you open the web page, it is preferable to register your account so your scores can be saved, but remember to log in first before starting the game. After registering your account, you are almost ready to start the game. You just need to type a username and/or choose a pet. The username is not compulsory to fill, which means you can also join the game with an empty name.

After that, you also can choose a server. The game had already chosen a random server for you, but if you dislike the server, you can change to another one by clicking the server button. (top left corner, below profile button)

Besides registering, filling your username and choosing the server, you also can choose your pet, which is the main feature of the game. There are 3 starting pets for you to choose, which are Wolf, Rabbit, and Bear. Every pets have their own type and skills. For example, wolves are fire types with a big fire ball around them as their skill, dealing constant damage to nearby enemies when activated. Besides their skills, every pet also has their own stats, like speed, regeneration, etc.

Game Mechanics[]

Age[]

Age is essentially an indicator of the player's level. Upon reaching any age up to Age 25/26/27, a new weapon or tool will be unlocked, available for the player to select. There are many ways to obtain XP, including hitting ore (wood, stone, etc.), killing animals and killing other tamers. The amount of XP provided differ - for example, logs (a type of wood) gives more XP than other obstacles. The first few ages tend to go relatively quick: however, the XP required to go up further will increase quite exponentially.

Among different types of resources, chests, presents/eggs and logs can grant you XP the fastest. Hitting a chest a few times can get you to age 1 easily. You could also kill players with high xp levels for plenty of age. Killing baby (50 XP each), adult (100 XP each) and boss (400 XP each) animals will give you and your pet more XP. Sometimes, two different resources can spawn next to each other and farming both at the same time will give you both resources and more XP than just farming one. In essence, the more resources you obtain from an object, the more XP you get.

Resources[]

Resources are important in the game as it gives us resources to build structures and use certain tools. There are 4 types of resources that can be obtained, which are: Wood, Stone, Food and Gold. Resources can be generated everywhere on the server, which makes it very easy to find. Food can be obtained from certain bushes and also give from killing players and mobs. Stone and wood are used for building structures and using tools such as bows and crossbows, using slingshots and repairing buildings. Apples are used to heal you with food or to use the appletors. Gold can increase your score, which affects your badge level in the long run, and can buy you useful hats in-game that grants various boosts to the player (note: hats are not permanent, they last only until a session is over).

Healing[]

When you take some damage on the server by players or mobs, you need to heal. To heal, you need Food. You will not be healed automatically, unlike many other games.

Food can be obtained by hunting and breaking berry bushes. In the early age you only have apples, which only restores 10 health points. After your age increases, you can obtain even more food. As you age, your healing food branches off to different categories with unique mechanics. There are three branches: one, just healing (e.g. the cookie); two, gradual healing (e.g. sandwich); and three, lastly, healing with extra "defense" (e.g. steak).

Besides of eating food to heal yourself, you can also get healed by other players or you can heal other players. You need an appletor and some food to heal them, just use the appletor to shoot other players or enemy and they will get healed. Wearing a nurse hat can heal players even effectively.

Alliances[]

Besides of playing alone and defending yourself, you can also choose to play alongside other players, build bases and fight together. There are two types of "alliances": teams and clans. There is a common confusion between the two: teams only last until you stop playing, but clans are permanent and will last until you get kicked/leave.

To create/join a team, there is a button on the top right in-game. Joining a team will render yourself friendly with your teammates. Joining a clan can be done in the main menu (next to friends button).

Weapons[]

Weapons are the most important aspect of the game, as they allow you to both gather resources and engage in PVP battles.

Melee Weapons[]

  • Axe: Relatively high damage output, farms resources faster but has low reload and range. The Axe is the optimal weapon for farming animals, but not PvP, as the player speed is reduced greatly. Upgrades at age 6.
  • Labrys: High damage with a 360 degree attack. Good for PvP, not so much for fighting animals. Branches off from the axe.
  • Daggers: Short range, but extremely versatile. The recommended weapon for both farming animals and PvP, and has the highest DPS of any weapon of relative level. Upgrades at age 6.
  • Cleavers: The perfect weapon for killing animals, but is generally handicapped in player battles. Branches off from daggers at age 6.
  • Spear: A very long range weapon that does high damage. However, it's low reload makes it struggle against animals. It's also incredibly inefficient when harvesting resources. Upgrades at age 6.
  • Sword: An all-rounded weapon, just like the daggers. It is also seen often in PvP. Upgrades at age 6.
  • Hammer: Offers very high movement speed and is proficient at gathering resources. However, it is extremely weak as it deals very little damage in terms of PvP or fighting animals. Recommended for base building or to be used in tandem with a ranged secondary. Upgrades at age 6.
  • Katanas: A more polarized version of the sword, has longer range and higher damage but slower attacks. Branches off from the sword.
  • Pickaxes: Gathers even more resources than the hammer, in exchange for movement speed. Branches off from the hammer at age 6. Best used when mining minerals. Branches off from the hammer.
  • Naginatas: Has the longest range out of any weapons. High damage, and decent reload. A fatal weakness of this weapon is its blind spot - foes that gets too close are immune to damage. Branches off from the sword.
  • Gloves: The weapon with the least range. Does moderate damage, and has a chance (25%) to knock out enemies, stunning them. Upgrades at age 6.

Ranged Weapons[]

Ranged weapons shoot projectiles to deal damage to enemies from a distance, all of them consume resources in order to do so.

  • Bow: Shoots arrows. A consistent ranged option. Obtained at age 4.
  • Crossbow: Stronger arrows, longer range and higher arrow velocity, but slower than the bow.
  • Musket: Shoots bullets at a fast pace, but does reduced damage against animals.
  • Minigun: Extremely quick reload, but is inaccurate and consumes loads of resources. Best used at close range.
  • Golden Bow: Upgraded version of the default bow, reloads faster.

Note: You must age up to age 10 to get Crossbows, Golden Bow, Minigun and Musket.

Defensive options[]

There are 2 defensive options that currently exist in the game, both providing damage reduction when properly directed to intercept attacks.

  • Shield: Simple damage reduction, reduces movement speed when held up.
  • Crystal Shield: Specializes greatly against ability/magic damage, but sacrifices defense against standard attacks.

Miscellaneous[]

  • Wrench: Repairs damaged friendly structure.

Utility[]

Utility items serve to fill niches that primary and secondary weapons do not.

  • Appletor: Heals animals and players by shooting apples at them. Can also be used to boost the taming chances of some pets.
  • Slingshot: Deals low damage against players and animals. Can be used to boost the taming chances of some pets.
  • Saddle: Mount boss pets and use them for mobility.
  • Bug Net: Catch insects.

Weapons, secondaries and tools will slowly receive stat upgrades as you level up. Upon reaching level 25 utility items will also receive an upgrade option.

Structure[]

Structures are buildings that can be placed for some use. As same as weapons, structures also can be upgraded to gold, ruby, amethyst, sapphire, amber, diamond, and emerald. When starting, you will have wooden walls, wooden spikes, wooden doors, and wooden windmills. You can unlock more structures in age 3 such as turrets, fire/ice/electric/plant towers, stone doors, stone windmills, etc. You can also unlock stone walls at age 2.

  • WALLS: Sturdy defensive barricade, blocks the movement of players.
  • DOORS: Excludes passage and movement of wild animals and players that are not allied with you.
  • SPIKES: Deals high DPS to anything touching it.
  • WINDMILLS: Generates gold. Boosted by the windmill hat.
  • TURRETS: Shoots at enemies in range. High fire rate, medium damage, bullets travel over walls.
  • FIRE TOWER: Shoots a fireball at nearby enemies, inflicting burn DOT.
  • ICE TOWER: Shoots a ice ball at nearby enemies, inflicts slowdown.
  • ELECTRIC TOWER: Shoots an electric orb at nearby enemies, inflicts paralysis.
  • WATER TOWER- Shoots a water orb that heals friendly entities and damages hostile entities.
  • REPAIR TOWER: Repairs friendly buildings in range.

  • TAMING PETS

If your pet died in the game, you can tame a new pet. You can tame only 3 pets. First, you need to find a sleeping baby animal. Then get closer, a paw button will appear below the screen, make sure you don't attack the animal else it will run away. Later, click the button, (or press ".") a heart will appear on top of the animal, and wait....

If the heart had broken, that means you had failed, and it WILL attack you, and sadly you have to 𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗜𝗧. Some pets are fire types and that means they are weak for water types, but they are strong for plant types, etc. You can refer to the game for more info about pets. If the heart is intact, it will be your loving companion that will die for you. (and when it turns into a boss you can ride it!)

Besides than, you can buy a tamer's cap that costs 2500 gold to increase the taming chance. You can also use slingshots and appletors to increase the taming chance of some pets. (Not ALL!)

A small tip for taming: Press the paw button, and while your taming it keep on hitting it, this is so the pet can die way more easy if it rejects your loving arms.

  • PETS

Pets are the main feature of the game, they can protect you and defend you from anything dangerous. There are 3 types of growing stages of a pet, which are baby pets, which give less XP and in small size with low damage and health. Then the adult pets, which gives more XP and in normal size. And finally the boss pets, which gives the most XP and has the biggest size and very powerful.

Every pets have their own skills depending on their ability, some pets are fire types, like wolves, etc. Which are weak for water types, and strong against plant types, etc.

  • GOLD/SCORES

Golds are also known as scores in the game, the more gold you have, the more scores you get. There are several ways to get gold. You can kill players and animals for gold. You can also place windmills to generate gold slowly. Besides that, you can also mine gold at the gold mine to get more gold. You can also kill bosses and destroy their chests for gold, although for a beginner, it's better to kill bosses with a (TRUSTED) teammate. You can also kill the golden apples chests around the map to gain a little gold.

  • SHOP

You can purchase hats or accessories at the shop. "Money" in the game had been replaced by gold. Some hats are useless but some hats are useful. For example: Wearing a tamer's cap can increase taming chance, wearing a helmet can decrease damage, etc. You can read the info about the hat at the shop.

As same as hats, accessories also have their uses. Wearing a dragon's wing can increase sword and katana's damage, wearing a wolf tail makes wolves more powerful, etc.

STARTING OUT - AGE 1 , AGE 2 AND AGE 3

Since you MAY understand about everything in the game that you need, now you are ready to get started. Once you enter your game, first look around your surroundings, if there are animals or other players and they are chasing you, it is better to retreat. After getting to safety, try to find some resources and start to collect wood, gold, and stone (try see what you like best) your age will slowly increase. Remember, logs and chests will give more XP, so if you find one, you will know what you got to do, and anything thats alive will give you loads of xp.

After reaching age 1, your screen will show 5 tools for you, which are the axe, daggers, spear, sword, and hammer. You can only choose one. So you should make a smart choice. After you have chosen your weapon, keep gathering more resources until you reach age two, and you can unlock a cookie or a stone wall. Cookies are useful for healing and stone walls are used for building your base. If you want to be a fighter or hunter, you may want to choose the cookie because it heals you more, although it gives you less heal per food. The cookie is needed in order to advance to better food items as you increase your age. If you want to build a base, you can choose the stone wall. (However is not recommended, so take precautions)

Now you can start to hunt, if you want to reach other ages faster or get more food. Find wild animals such as wolves or rabbits, you can hunt baby animals or adults, but don't try to kill boss animals because they will use their skills and kill you and your baby pet easily.

When you reached age 3, just pick one that you like.

At age 4, you can choose bow or shield, wrenches are used for base repairing anything you or your team has built.

At age 5, you can choose a saddle to ride a boss pet, or you can choose an appletor or a slingshot to tame pets more easily.

At age 8, you can choose a boost pad for escaping or a heal pad for healing.

USEFUL TIPS[]

When fighting a wild animal, remember this simple but useful tip.

Hit it on the side of the head and move in a circular motion. The animal should not be able to hit you, or displace you.

Another way to do this is by moving back and also moving slightly side to side. You will avoid all the animals bites. This version is unpreferred because you are moving around a lot and might bump into anything from a toxic player to a BMB.
