Goldground

Gold is the resource used to buy hats, to build structures. It also represents the player's score, which dictates the their badge.

Acquiring[]

Gold comes from many sources, the easiest of which is the Gold node. However, Windmills and killing animals (or players) are usually more efficient means of acquiring gold.

  • Gold Nodes are found in two different forms. The first are located around the map randomly. They do not take damage unlike other natural resources, and only disappears once the biome changes. These reward 1 gold each hit on default. The other type is much larger than its counterpart, and rewards 3 gold each hit on default. It is always located in the middle of the map, and does not disappear even at the change of biomes. Items such as the Big Bag and Hammers increases the amount of gold harvested from nodes.
  • Windmills produce a consistent amount of gold based on its level. The Windmill Hat adds 10 gold to the production of each windmill.
  • Killing an animal rewards a sum of gold. The amount varies depending on the animal's level.
  • Upon killing another player, the player is awarded one-sixth of their gold.
  • The Vulture's ability, Opportunist Theft steals ~6% of resources of a nearby foe, including gold.
