Even though the daggers have the shortest range of all weapons, when done right you can easily overwhelm any opponent with its fast, constant damage.
If you want to get gold, daggers are proficient at killing bosses.
Daggers can gather resources quite fast, especially with the corresponding resource hats.
Daggers have a notable synergy with the crossbow, as the crossbow can be used for a quick burst of damage or to snipe pets from range.
