The desert now features two bosses. This is the Cactus Tree, a plant type Cactus Boss which has 8,000 hitpoints and has two types of attacking:
- It will become covered in thorns and suck anyone close to it in the thorns for 18 rapid damage.
- It will activate the same attack whilst shooting needles. These attacks rotate, first there will be the attack with the spikes, then one without, then one with, then one without, and so on. These needles have a vampirism effect, meaning they will heal the boss if anybody or anybody's pet gets hit. These needles do 20 damage on players, and 40 on animals.
- This is a plant-based attack, so the plant cape can prevent you from getting hurt.
A good strategy is to keep track of the timing of the next attack, and always be ready to boostpad away. If you get stuck while the boss is also shooting needles, you're likely to die and pets will get massive damage, on top of the fact that the boss will heal itself. During the fight it spawns dragon, rock and insect fairies when the hp of the boss reaches around 75-50-25%. The further in the fight, the more boss level fairies will spawn.
After the boss is killed, it spawns 3 fairies of either the rock type, dragon type or insect type. Of course, there spawn 3 gold chests that give 14k gold each and the boss gives 20k gold and a few thousand xp if you kill it.
Some good pets combinations against the boss are as follows.
- Triple Boar
- Yellow Scorpion
- Triple Fennec Fox
- Triple Wolf (Beware with this one. Wolf skill greatly slows down the wolf, so it is more likely to be killed)
- Fairies (fairies that can do good amount of damage to the boss exp -> poison fairy)

When falling asleep, The Cactus Boss has a 10-30% chance in order to spawn 3 kinds of Butterflies, those can include:
Dragon Butterfly, Rock Butterfly and Insect Butterfly (in no particular order)
