Unlocking
You can get pet cards from taming, but you can also get them from pet chests, including cards of animals which are no longer tameable. You can then spawn in with unlocked animals as outlined in the spawning section.
- For the wolf, rabbit and bear, you can spawn with 1 pet at any time, needing 50 pet cards for 2 starter pets and 100 pet cards for 3 starter pets.
- All other animals require 50 pet cards to unlock 1 starter pet, 100 pet cards to unlock 2 starter pets and 150 pet cards to unlock 3 starter pets.
Skins
Animals may have none or up to 5 different skins. By default, you have one skin unlocked, and can buy the other available skins with golden apples. Skins that can be purchased under any circumstances cost 1,500 golden apples, while skins that can be acquired only with a certain level cost 1,000 golden apples.
Leveling Up
Animals that have been fully unlocked can be leveled up. Those levels grant you points that can be then used to improve one of the following areas: speed, weight, attack, life, regeneration speed and regeneration points. Some areas may cost more than others according to the amount of points already invested in it. It is worth noting that there is a maximum level for each area, as well as that you can reset your points for 200 golden apples. The maximum pet level is 60.
Overbreeding
Once you have reached level 60, it is possible to start over from level 0 but with 20 extra points with the overbreed mechanic. You can overbreed indefinitely, but 9 times is enough to have all the points needed to maximize your levels.
Stats
Every animal has its own unique statistics, statistics can range from affecting the span of an ability to increasing the speed of your pet! You can see their statistics in their own pages:
