The Taming.io Wiki is a collaborative effort to gather as much information on Taming.io as possible that anyone can help contribute to. The game is an online multiplayer experience created by the french developer LapaMauve. Your objective is to stay alive for as long as possible as you age and achieve better resources, tools and weapons.

Their ability to be tamed allow varying usages depending on the context.

Bosses

Powerful creatures that have special abilities and spawn special animals.

Activities that, once done, are rewarded with golden apples in game.

Items which are used to interact with the world in many different ways.

Buildings

Placeable items that can be used to attack, build and give special effects.

Badges

Their tiers have varying daily rewards and resources when playing.

Biomes

They rule the ambient of the game: animals, bosses and aesthetics.

Potions

These have miscellaneous usages, being consumed before the game.

Insects

They can be captured using the bug net, allowing the brewage of potions.

Cosmetics

Items that change your appearance without affecting gameplay.

Reaper

Entity that appears when a server is about to restart, usually before an update.

Tamon.io is an RPG game with many references to Pokémon hosted by the bot of same name, which is played by any group of people in the Taming.io Discord server; it sorts a voted action and plays it out. It contains the canonical lore of Taming.io. To play it, you must enter the discord channel: #tamon-io.

The official Taming.io site has a How-to-Play guide introducing various concepts for newer players, a news outlet with events and new updates and the game's Changelog.

The community uses various social networks to connect and communicate, mainly the Discord server and Reddit, although there is also Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
